2016

The company is founded

The company is registered, receives its tax form and VAT registration. A big day!

2017

Associated companies are founded

An associated company is founded and developed, with a location at the incubator BIC Factory.

2018

Finalist at Umeågalan

Our founder Filip is a finalist at the Umeågala in the Young Entrepreneur of the Year category.

2019

Associated companies are divested

The shares in the former associated company are sold.

The new Hexabyte is starting to take shape

Now begins a completely new journey for the company.

2022

New service: Web hosting

We develop and launch the service web hosting, with servers and data storage in Norrland, Umeå.

2023

Move to fully equipped server hall

After a successful launch of the web hosting services, we move into a server hall to gain access to redundancy for things like power, internet and cooling.

Name change

The company changes its name from PALMBERG.io (Filip Palmberg AB) to Hexabyte AB, Read more.

Development of the service offering

New VPS and server services are selected and tested. These will be stealthily launched at the end of the year.

2024

New services are fully launched

The new hosting services VPS and dedicated server fully launched.

Infrastructure upgrade: Own BGP

We become members of RIPE NCC, get our AS number and our own IP addresses. Now we become our own internet provider, a big step for the company, Read more.
