This guide assumes you have created Access Keys in Hexabyte Cloud.
UpdraftPlus is a popular backup plugin for WordPress that works great with Hexabytes S3-compatible object storage, even in the free version.
This guide shows the settings required for compatibility.
- Install UpdraftPlus
Install the plugin UpdraftPlus - Backup/Restore in WordPress if you don't already have it installed.
- Select remote storage and set up the S3 API
Go to Settings and choose S3-Compatible (Generic)
Then fill in the following information:
S3 endpoint: https://s3.hexabyte.se
Access Key: (from the customer portal)
Secret Key: (from the customer portal)
Bucket name: Existing or new bucket (NB, bucket-name must be globally unique)
